PVRIS – New Album Evergreen Out July 14th
On July 14th producer, singer/songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist PVRIS (Lyndsey Gunnulfsen) will release her new album EVERGREEN. The album’s 11 tracks highlight Lynn’s musical evolution incorporating elements of electronic, rock, and pop music and she has teased it with several singles including last week’s title track, “LOVE IS A…,” “GOOD ENEMY,” “GODDESS,” “ANYWHERE BUT HERE” and “ANIMAL” (listen here).
Taken as a whole, the album is a reclamation of control in our post-pandemic culture, posing a complex discussion on fame, technology, spectacle, and female autonomy. As a fiercely passionate LGBTQ+ woman, Gunnulfsen has fought her entire career to make sure her voice is heard and her art is not compromised in a male-dominated world. EVERGREEN is a call to empower other women and individuals to find strength in their voices
PVRIS will play a brand new show throughout the remainder of 2023, with 17 dates at the US Sad Summer Festival beginning on July 6, followed by a North American co-headline run, “The Godless/Goddess Tour,” with Poppy from August-September, and finishing with a stretch of arena dates in support of Fall Out Boy’s UK/EU fall tour.
