Bethany Cosentino Announces Debut Solo Album

Lead singer of Best Coast, Bethany Cosentino, announces the release of her debut solo album “Natural Disaster” via Concord Records.
“Natural Disaster” was produced by the legend Butch Walker “between many trips to and from Nashville and a few traffic-filled drives from the east side to Santa Monica. Butch helped me make the album I’ve always wanted to make, but never felt confident enough to do so.”
The first single, “It’s Fine” is now streaming everywhere with an accompanying video directed by Janelle Shirtcliff.
Along with the announcement of her solo album Bethany also announced the indefinite hiatus of Best Coast. “The Decision to pause the project indefinitley to allow myself the chance to explore who I am as just… Bethany Cosentino… did not come easy, but I knew it was nescessary. I haven’t felt this alive and comfortable in my own skin maybe, ever – and I think you will hear that all over this record. It’s a new me, a side of myself not even I knew was there.”
