Boyish Transform the Troubadour into a Scene from Their Imaginary Town

Boston duo Boyish, made up of India Shore and Claire Altendahl, unveiled their latest album Gun on September 12, a shimmering 11-track love story set in an imagined small town, pieced together over three years of wandering through America’s in-between places. The record feels like a cinematic road trip through longing and nostalgia, anchored by a  blend of alternative textures, lush guitars, hazy vocals, and emotionally charged storytelling.

Kicking off their aptly titled “The Gun Show” tour on October 10, Boyish brought their world to life on stage at the legendary Troubadour in Los Angeles on October 22. The night captured the duo’s knack for weaving intimacy into energy, here are a few moments from the show.
