Skullcrusher performs at Hollywood Forever’s Masonic Lodge
Earlier this week, folk singer-songwriter Helen Ballentine who records under the name Skullcrusher performed at Hollywood Forever’s Masonic Lodge to debut her first full-length new album, Quiet the Room.
The venue, located at Hollywood’s cemetery, was the perfect backdrop and mood setter for Helen’s hauntingly alluring album. Ballentine’s melancholy lyrics of childhood memories growing up in Mt Vernon echoed throughout the dark room alongside the atmospheric ambient sounds of piano chords, acoustic guitars, banjo, and violin.
Here are a few images from that night.
Be sure to give Quiet the Room a listen on your favorite streaming service and check out Skullcrusher on her upcoming North American tour, which begins November 11th in Washington, D.C.
