Meet Beef, The Unapologetically Fierce Four-Piece hardcore Punk Band From Philly

Introducing Beef, the formidable four-piece hardcore punk juggernaut consisting of Manda (vocals), Jess (bass), Lauren (guitar), and Nora (drums).  Hailing from Philadelphia, Beef has carved its niche in the hardcore punk scene with an unapologetic and raw sound that resonates with the intensity and energy that defines the genre.

The bands sonic identity is a potent concoction of influences from hardcore heavyweights such as Scowl, Kublai Khan, and the dynamic energy of Mannequin Pussy, sets them apart in the hardcore punk landscape. Their latest release, Highwater,” has swiftly propelled them into the spotlight on the East Coast.

A little about the band: The journey of Beef began when Manda, fueled by a desire to form a band, enlisted her longtime friend Jess to join. Knowing no other guitarists, they turned to the digital realm, and recruited guitarist Lauren through a Google form. A few months later, the same approach led them to the final piece of the puzzle, their dummer Nora.

How did the band get their name? You might ask. The name “Beef” may have started out as a joke suggestion but it stuck and quickly became embraced by crowds, especially the infectious chant “Who Got Beef?”

As the band tirelessly works on their upcoming EP, Beef is hitting the ground running with a sound that is loud, angry, and undeniably raw. Brace yourself for the fury of Beef as they unleash their uncompromising sound upon the world.

Don’t miss the chance to witness Beef’s raw energy on stage.
